The Extra Miles are an acoustic duo from State College. They are two friends who find immense joy in making music as a group, and they love that they can help bring people together while doing it! Known for their smooth harmony and guitar driven style, you are sure to be tapping your foot and singing along. Their set lists include a mix of originals and finely selected covers. Their genre has been described as an “eclectic mix of Americana, acoustic rock, folk, country, and indie…with a splash of fun!”

 

The Extra Miles have performed together for over 7 years. In 2017 they had the exciting opportunity to play original songs at a songwriter’s showcase at the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN. The Extra Miles have played at The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, First Night State College, Art in the Orchard, the Coalport Street Fair, First Fridays, The Clearfield Corner Concert Series, The Williamspint Beer Fest, The Altoona Railroaders Memorial, and more! You can catch their live performances at various venues across Central Pennsylvania including breweries, wineries, restaurants, festivals, block parties, farmer's markets, coffee shops, campgrounds, fundraisers & benefits, private parties, and even the occasional birthday bash! Their absolute favorite places to play are nursing homes and back porches.
